THE RED BARN ON FURNACE POINT RD.

Just north of Westport, New York, about a mile and a half from the center of the village, is Furnace Point Road.  Furnace Point Road is a dead end, dirt road that forks off Lake Shore Road and runs parallel with the shoreline.  Somewhat more than half way, perhaps 1/2 down Furnace Point Road you'll see a red barn with an  attached silo on the left.  Click here to see a map.

then, a year-round residence until 2002.
